2003 WRIGLEY’S SPEARMINT® GUM FAN FAIR SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
1.
NO
PURCHASE NECESSARY. Sweepstakes begins
March 24, 2003 and concludes at 12 midnight Pacific Time on May 2, 2003. There are two (2) ways to enter: 1.) Send an
email with your name, address, city, state, zip code, e-mail address, and phone
number (including area code) to Countdown@JeffFoxworthy.com. LIMIT ONE EMAIL ENTRY PER PERSON OR EMAIL
ADDRESS PER DAY. Subsequent email
entries from a person or e-mail address on any single day may void all entries.
2.) Write your name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number (including
area code), and e-mail address (if any) on a 3˝" x 5" card or piece
of paper and mail it to: Wrigley’s Spearmint® Gum’s Fan Fair Sweepstakes c/o Foxworthy
Countdown, 1805 Hayes Street, Nashville, Tennessee, 37203. Multiple mail-in entries allowed but each
mail-in entry must be handwritten in ink and mailed separately. Sweepstakes winners
will be drawn from all entries received.
By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with the official rules
including eligibility requirements. Responsibility for receipt of entry rests
solely with the entrant. Proof of
mailing does not constitute proof of delivery.
Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, OMD USA, The Foxworthy Countdown, and Premiere
Radio Networks, Inc. will not be responsible for late, lost, misdirected,
mutilated or postage-due entries as well as technical or human errors in
transmission of, or receipt of, telephone calls and/or miscommunication, as
well as for technical or human errors in omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized
access to, or alterations of, entry materials, or for technical, network,
telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of
any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information
by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the
Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. Sponsor is also not responsible for injury
or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting
from playing or downloading any materials in the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or
modify the sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond
the control of Sponsor compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes as
determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
No mechanical reproductions will be accepted with the exception of entries
via the Countdown@JeffFoxworthy.com
email address. Entries void if
defective, altered, forged, illegible, or received outside authorized
channels. All entries become property
of the Sponsor, Wrigley’s Spearmint® Gum, and will not be returned.
2. PRIZE DRAWING. A random drawing will be held on or about
May 7, 2003 from among all eligible entries received by May 2, 2003. Odds of winning depend on the number of
eligible entries received. Winner
agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Premiere Radio Networks,
Inc., whose decisions are final and binding.
Winner will be notified by telephone and/or mail on or about May 7,
2003. An Affidavit of Eligibility and
Liability/Publicity Release must be signed, notarized, and returned by prize
winner within fourteen (14) days of notification attempt. Prize will not be awarded until the
Affidavit is completed. Failure to return
the executed Affidavit within that time will result in forfeiture of prize and
random selection of alternate winner from remaining eligible entries. Travel companion (guest) of the prize
winner, or their parent or guardian if guest is a minor, must complete a
Liability/Publicity Release prior to issuance of travel documents. By accepting the prize, winner and guest
consent to the use of their likeness, photograph, name, or voice for
advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media worldwide (including
winners list) for Wm Wrigley Jr. Company, OMD USA, The Foxworthy Countdown, and
Premiere Radio Networks, Inc. without additional compensation or notification.
2.
PRIZE. One (1) Grand Prize winner will win two (2)
round trip coach airline tickets, for winner and guest, from the major gateway
nearest winner’s home to Nashville, Tennessee (winner and guest must travel out
of the same airport), five (5) nights hotel accommodations, registration to all
Fan Fair events, airport transfers, and welcome gifts (Approximate Retail
Value: $2,600.00). Winner and guest
must travel out of the same airport.
Travel must coincide on or around the dates of Fan Fair (June 5-8, 2003)
and certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Airline reservations each require at least a
two week advance notice. Additional
meals, incidentals, gratuities, and all other expenses not specifically
mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any
portion of this prize, including destination, for a prize of equal or greater
value. No transfer, change, or cash
substitution of the prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the
sponsor. Other restrictions may
apply. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded. All federal, state, and local taxes on the
prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
4. CONDITIONS.
Entrants release Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, OMD USA, The Foxworthy
Countdown, and Premiere Radio Networks, Inc., their directors, employees,
divisions, affiliates, officers, subsidiaries, agents, advertising agencies and
all others associated with the development and execution of the program, from
and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from
this sweepstakes and the awarding and use of the prize, including liability for
personal injury.
5. ELIGIBILITY.
Sweepstakes open to continental residents of the United States, age 18
or older. Employees, or their immediate
families, of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, OMD USA, The Foxworthy Countdown, and
Premiere Radio Networks, Inc., their divisions, affiliates, officers,
subsidiaries, agents and advertising agencies are ineligible. Subject to all laws and regulations and void
where prohibited or restricted by law.
Sweepstakes void in Rhode Island.
6. WINNER'S LIST.
For the prize winner’s name, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

Winners list will be available after May 2, 2003. WA and VT residents only may omit return
